From a garage and a set of hand tools to our own workshop, CNC machine and dedicated wrap room.
How it started
I wrapped my first kitchen nearly 10 years ago. At the time I was in the sign trade, and I’d spent years putting vinyl on vehicles, shop signs and commercial jobs, so I knew the material inside out. The only thing I had to learn was kitchens.
It didn’t take long to see that the same hard-wearing architectural vinyl we used on commercial work could give kitchen doors, cupboards, worktops and furniture a fresh look, for a fraction of the cost of replacing them.
I launched Kitchen Wrapper in 2022. Like a lot of businesses, it started small. I was making replacement doors in my garage with basic hand tools and doing the wrapping myself. Every job taught me something, and every happy customer helped it grow.
These days we work from our own workshop, with a CNC machine that cuts custom kitchen doors to the millimetre. What used to take me a full day by hand now takes minutes.
We also have a dedicated wrap room, where the doors are wrapped in controlled conditions before they go in. That’s a big part of how we get a finish that looks right and lasts for years.
More than just kitchen wrapping
We’ve grown well beyond just wrapping doors. We now make replacement doors, fit worktops, install splashbacks, swap out handles and hinges, and take on full kitchen refurbishments right across Scotland.
We’re also one of the biggest buyers of architectural vinyl in Scotland, so we can offer a huge choice of finishes and keep our prices keen for you.

The one thing I’ve always cared about is making the whole job easy on you. It’s why we built our own software, so you can follow your kitchen from start to finish. I call it the Domino’s tracker for kitchens. You always know exactly where your project is and what’s next.
Last year we did around five kitchen transformations a week, for everyone from homeowners to some of Scotland’s biggest landlords. From a single family kitchen to hundreds of rental properties, every job gets the same care.
What matters most
