Our review policy

How our reviews reach our website, what we do and don't do, and how to tell us if something looks wrong.

Where our reviews come from

After every finished job, our project system asks the customer how it went. We ask everyone, not just the people we expect to be happy. Customers can leave a review on Trustpilot or Google, and those sites publish them, not us.

Our Trustpilot rating includes every review left there, good and bad. We can't remove reviews from Trustpilot or Google, and we don't ask anyone to.

Reviews on this website

  • Written reviews are copied word for word from Trustpilot, with the customer's first name and the month. Each one links back to the original so you can check it. We choose which ones to show here, but we never change the words.
  • Video reviews are filmed in the customer's own kitchen, after the job is finished, with their permission. Customers who film a video review get a thank-you payment from us. We never tell anyone what to say, and we don't film anyone whose job isn't finished.

What we never do

  • Pay for, or offer anything for, a written review on Trustpilot or Google.
  • Write reviews ourselves, or ask friends, family or staff to review us.
  • Ask for a review only from customers we think will be happy.
  • Offer a discount in exchange for removing or changing a review.

When a review is not good

If something has gone wrong, we want to know. We reply to reviews, we look at what happened, and we put it right where we can. We've even talked openly about a bad review on Kitchen Wrapper Weekly.

Tell us if something looks wrong

If you think a review on this site is not genuine, or you'd like your own review taken off our website, email hi@kitchenwrapper.com or call 0141 459 1629. We'll look into it and get back to you.
